Retirement = check
Relaxation = check
Rest? Not so much!
But that was okay with us. It is such a
toss up when you go out of town. We woke up at 5am and by 2pm we were
quite tired... the question was, do we go back home for a nap? or stay
up and take advantage of being away... in Vancouver... and it being +12?
We chose to stay up and were thankful for it.
The retirement celebration was
fantastic. Great speeches, a really nice slideshow, super company,
delicious food, a great turn out and most of all lots of laughs had by
all. Iain was toasted and roasted by his lovely wife and his closest
friends and it was a fabulous night!
