Award winning article!

The article on pregnancy and infant loss that was written in the 'Yellowknifer' this past October about myself and fellow babyloss mom, Jennifer Young, won third place for best feature story at the Alberta Weekly Newspapers Association awards ceremony this past weekend!

    This is incredible! Made me tear up.

    For some reason it just clicked when I saw Claire was born in October 2009 at 17 weeks gestation. I had flash backs to October 9, when I had my ultrasound to find out my Lily was a girl. She was two days shy of 18 weeks gestation. Her due date was March 14, 2010, just four days after yours...she was born still two days later, on the 16th. I guess just realizing this makes me feel a sweet connection to you and your girl. I'd like to think of our daughters dancing together in Heaven <3
