Lighter... less guilty...

As Christmas draws near, I find myself missing her but also feeling so grateful that I get to hold her little sister in my arms... she made that possible.

Thanks to CB’s Facebook status for these words. (I have changed it up a bit to fit my family.) You have put into words exactly what I have been feeling... not only this Christmas but since I found out that I was pregnant with my Rainbow Baby, Lucy. Since reading those words, only minutes ago, I have felt lighter, less guilty about being so happy and fulfilled in having a new baby in the house. Not a replacement baby but rather a gift from Claire to our family to brighten our days. What a beautiful thought.
