I've waited so long to be able to do this!
I miss Claire.
I know it may sound silly but soon after I gave birth to Claire, finding out she was a girl, one thing that really had me upset was knowing I would never get to French Braid her hair.
I know how lucky I am to be able to braid Lucy's... it still hurts though.
So pretty. I'm sorry that you didn't get to braid Claire's hair. It's strange isn't it? The little things that we miss that sting us.
ReplyDeleteIt does seem like such a simple little thing to get caught up and emotional about. I always wanted a little girl so that I could do her hair. That dream died when Claire died and it really did sting (good choice of wording!).
